Myriads of Angels

The 29:11 Story: Myriads of Angels

Between my son’s initial diagnosis of bone cancer and his re-diagnosis, my dear sister-in-law, Jane, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her battle with cancer was horribly brutal. I remember visiting her shortly after she had awakened from a two-week coma. I was holding her hand and I asked her if she had been to hell and back. She locked me in with her eyes and said “No I have been to heaven and back“. She was very weak and struggled to say, “I thought my cancer was retribution for my divorce. I would not look at him. But then I turned and looked and he was there and he has always been there and he was so bright and so white.” And still locking me into her eyes, she said, And he is here now” and so saying, she looked straight through me and beyond me into the room at what and who she was seeing. I remember being absolutely in awe at her experience. And I also know now that Jane’s story to me was one of my most valuable I have ever received from anyone. It prepared me for what was to come, the re-diagnosis and death of my son William.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.… God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day…Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. Gen. 1-2:1

This new Kingdom of God was full of glorious and blindingly beautiful light and purity and holiness But both the angels of the new Kingdom of Heaven and mankind of the new Kingdom of Earth were created with free will as an all important element. Otherwise, The beautiful light filled angels, and man and woman would simply be beautiful ornaments. The Trinity of God, the Holy Family desires more from the creation. They desire an extended family.

The beautiful angels were created first because the Holy Family foreknew that the newly created Kingdom of God would break into the two separate Kingdoms of Heaven and Earth as darkness, sin and degradation quickly found its way into the new divine light. Led by Satan, one of God’s most exquisite creations, a third of the angels would choose the darkness and fall from Heaven. But the rest, myriads of them, would choose to remain in the Heavens in the Holy presence of the Holy Trinity.

When the Earth was created with man and woman made in the image of God, the Holy Family also foreknew of humanity’s choice to turn to darkness and away from the light. The Holy Family was prepared for this battle of free will as well. The Father is now separated from His creation of the Earth; lightness cannot be a part of darkness. Satan, cast out of Heaven has become "the ruler of this world", the prince of the power of the air," but only with God’s permission and authority and only for a short time. Jesus said, …” Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.” John 12:30.

The angels, created for this very purpose, now serve as messengers from the Father to their “brothers and sisters” on the fallen Kingdom of the earth: Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? Hebrews 1:14

When Job questions his life, God responds: Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm. He said: “Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge? Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone— while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy? Job 38:2-7

This is God’s plan, His Perfect Plan. Every 29:11 Story recognizes the angels. Every Story features two Heaven beads, one blue bead at the beginning of the first creation and another matching blue bead as the New Heaven at the very end of each Story. The angels are the glorious inhabitants of the Heavens. The Stories that contain 91 beads also have seven specific angelic events each represented by seven crystal beads. The first and the last of these angels beads echo each other as the Old Testament foreshadows the New Testament. After Adam and Eve choose to disobey God they are found by God hiding in naked shame. They have excluded God from their marriage and therefore are no longer able to live in the Garden of Eden. Because God knows the cold outside of his Home, He makes the first blood sacrifice as he provides them with animal skins as clothing. And because He knows the darkness and death that waits outside of the garden, He commands his cherubim angels to guard the entrance. Adam and Eve have chosen to leave and will not be granted a way out of the darkness and brokenness until the fullness of time will bring the Son of God to make the ultimate blood sacrifice.

After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. Gen. 3:21-24

Chosen by God to father the son who will birth the beloved nation of Israel, Abraham is visited by three men, the LORD and two angels. This beautiful crystal bead is purple to reflect the presence of the divine LORD, the Son of God. This purple angel bead follows the beads that represent Abraham and Sarah. It is followed by a fire orange bead that represents God's wrath as the two angels deliver God’s judgement on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.

In the story of Moses, God sends his mighty angel of death over the city of Egypt after its pharaoh refuses to let the Hebrew slaves go free. This beautiful crystal bead is grey, reflecting the blackness of death and absolute darkness. It precedes a beautiful white pearl serving as God in the clouds as he reveals himself to Moses.

The prophets encounter angel after angel: The fourth “man” in the fiery furnace, the angel in the lion’s pit, and the angel who delivers the news of the spiritual battle that took place between the “prince of Persia” and the mighty archangel Michael: "When I looked up, I saw a man dressed in linen, and he had a belt made of gold from Uphaz around his waist. His body was like beryl. His face looked like lightning. His eyes were like flaming torches. His arms and legs looked like polished bronze. When he spoke, his voice sounded like the roar of a crowd” Daniel 10: 5-6. Ezekiel is full of angelic beings: "Each of the cherubim had four faces: One face was that of a cherub, the second the face of a human being, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle." Ezekiel 10:14. The major prophets are represented by 5 bronze beads. Bronze symbolizes judgement throughout the Bible. The beautiful clear crystal bead serves as the angelic visitations witnessed by the prophets as they warn the beloved child of God, Israel, of her degradation as she turns away from her Holy Family.

The New Testament is ushered in by the angel Gabriel and his visits to the new earthly mother and father who will raise the Son of Man to teach and preach and heal his people and ultimately, in the perfect fullness of time, bring them home. This beautiful angel crystal is between the wooden bead of Joseph the carpenter and his betrothed, the virgin Mary.

The bead that represents the Last Supper and the crucifixion is followed by another crystal bead that is the gleaming angels at the empty tomb: "Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot." John 20: 11-12. This beautiful bead announces the empty tomb, a black bead that echos but defeats the angel of death's absolute darkness and separation from God and the Holy Family.

To this very day, the Kingdom of God longs to be renewed and restored: "For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time." Romans 8: 19-22

Christ, the Son of God, as Jesus, the Son of Man , reminds us, His beloved children of this repeatedly in his parables. “The Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, a pearl, a hidden treasure, …" " From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17

Foreshadowed by the cherubim outside of the Garden of Eden, the last angel bead is placed within the chapter of the Second Coming, at the very end of God’s Story. It follows the rainbow bead that is God, the Father, on his throne, and His Son, Christ, dressed in a white robe, a golden sash, bronze feet, eyes of fire and holding seven stars in his hand. These seven stars represent the seven churches. This light reflecting crystal bead represents the entire host of angels, myriads of angels too numerous to count, who accompany Christ, the Son of God, as He returns to the Kingdom of the Earth to bring judgement to the darkness and sin. This bead precedes the Old Red Dragon, the red Satan bead and the orange bead of the Lake of Fire.

Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. Rev. 14:6

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.

In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” Rev. 5:11-12

The Kingdom of God will be restored: the angels and mankind will dwell in peace and joy together with the Holy Family: “Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed.” Revelation 22:1-3

Paul encouraged us in the midst of our daily struggles here on this broken Kingdom of the Earth as he prophecised of the renewed and redeemed Kingdom of God to come : But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. Hebrews 12:22-23

Chemotherapy and numerous surgeries required that William and I spend lengthy times at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham Alabama. This was 2 hours away from our home in Huntsville. My husband and his parents stayed with my other two children while we were away. Numerous family members helped us pass the time in Birmingham. One of our favorites was William’s Aunt Jane. She would entertain the smaller children who were in the oncology unit. She was a natural storyteller. I remember one time Jane telling me that she wished that she had what William and the other children had. She was not talking about cancer, she was talking about these children’s faith in God. At the time, Jane was very busy blending in her new complicated family. She had three children of her own and had been through a bitter divorce with their father. She had recently married a widower who had two children of his own. Jane knew that I had come into her family years before with little to no religious background. I did not “find “God until I was in my mid 30s. I told her that I had had a thirst for something that was lacking and had started going to a women’s Bible study. I suggested the same for her. She responded, “Who has time for that“. I told her that I had found that giving God time in a busy day actually made my days more peaceful and manageable.

Jane was diagnosed with breast cancer six weeks before William finished his first year of his battle with his cancer. Please don’t miss the significance of Jane’s timing. About nine months after this discussion, I felt the need to call her. I wish you were here, “she said, “This morning I had a visit with my ex and his wife.” And she went on to explain that she had found a women’s Bible study and that they had helped her to learn how to forgive her ex-husband and his wife. “I told them that I was forgiving them and letting them go.”

William was rediagnosed shortly after Jane's death. His cancer had found its way into his lungs.

I’m not sure who Jane saw repeatedly during her brutal battle with cancer. I do know she saw someone and that that "someone" was very bright and filled with light and critically important and comforting to her... “And he has always been there...”
