And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.” Philippians 1: 13-14
Paul’s Story can be told in a circle. Beginning at the top, in purple, the Holy Trinity -God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit- speak the creation into being. Counterclockwise, they create the blue Heavens and the green Earth. The Holy Spirit in white is hovering over the creation like a dove. At the bottom of the circle, Satan in red - the apple, the old red dragon, one of the celestial angels- has fallen from grace. Also fallen, mankind -Adam, brown and Eve, pink- is caught between the grace of the Holy Spirit and the temptations of sin. In the full-ness of time, Christ the Son comes incarnate to the Earth. He suffers death, and is resurrected to the Father. In so doing, Christ defeats Satan and invites humanity -brown and pink- to embrace the Holy Spirit. The Book of Revelation promises a new Earth and a new Heaven as we return to The Father and His Son to complete the circle of time.
