Noah's Story Earrings (ws)

Everyone knows the story of Noah and the flood.  God’s love for Noah and His covenant with him as expressed by the rainbow foreshadows humanity’s ultimate rescue and redemption. Anticipating The Second Coming, John reveals “At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it…and a rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne.”  Rev. 4:2-3.  The beautiful promise of the double rainbow can be told in the circle of a hoop earring. Beginning at the top left in purple, the Holy Trinity - God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit - speak the creation into being. They create the blue Heavens and the green Earth.  The Holy Spirit in white is hovering over the creation like a dove. Humanity falls with the apple and Satan and is caught between the grace of the Holy Spirit and the temptations of sin.  In the fullness of time, the Son, in purple divinity, comes incarnate to the earth.  He suffers death, and is resurrected to the Father.  In so doing, Christ the Son defeats Satan and invites humanity to embrace the Holy Spirit.The Book of Revelation promises a new Earth and a new Heaven as we return to the Father and His Son to complete the circle of time.
